Students bag top awards at Sherbies
Each house hosted their own evening of subject and house awards which were compered by staff and Post 16 students.
“Our very talented performing arts students entertained everyone throughout each evening with drum and piano solos, renditions of Your Song, Radioactive and many more popular hits,” said a school spokesman.

And each house nominated a House Star who had gone above and beyond in all aspects of their education and extra-curricular activities.
Headteacher, Maria Williams said at the awards: “I am proud of our students every day but particularly tonight – all students here are winners.”
The school spokesman added: “The calibre of students we have at Sherburn High is exceptional, however, on such occasions, it is extremely difficult to decide which one of them most deserves to receive an award.

“We would, therefore, like to sincerely thank: Wincanton, Mytum and Selby, Holmefield Veterinary Clinic, Crusties, Elmhirst Parker, Sherburn in Elmet Methodist Church and The China Palace.”
