£30m homes deal for ex military Thorp Arch site
The former Royal Ordnance Factory at Thorp Arch will provide a mix of affordable and open market homes along with significant training opportunities and investment for the local economy, explained a spokesman for the company.

Lovell’s Eastern region, based in Leeds, anticipates starting construction work on the Thorp Arch site, which forms part of the trading estate of the name, in October this year.
The development which will take around three years to complete and has a gross development value of £30,690,000, will comprise a total of 119 homes, 42 of which will be affordable available via a Registered Provider.
Lovell says it has been working closely with Leeds City Council and Homes England to develop a scheme appropriate for this site.
