UPDATED: Man found with chest wound released from Harrogate Hospital
Multiple police cars and ambulances arrived on the scene at around 4.30pm near Parliament Street to find the 46-year-old man on the floor.
Police confirmed that the man had blood on his chest from a wound and was later taken by ambulance to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment. He was later classed as being in a ‘stable’ condition.

Hide AdThe man was released from hospital today, (Thursday, March 10) but police said they were still ‘unclear’ how he sustained his injuries.
Police have so far been unable to establish if his injuries were self inflicted or from the result of a third party and an investigation is currently ongoing into the incident.
Witnesses at the scene described seeing a number of people gathered nearby the man and ‘lots of blood’ on the ground.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101. select option 2 and ask for the Serious Crime Team at Harrogate.
