Harrogate event for 10 million-selling classic album
Bruce Springsteen Greatest Hits will be the focus of the next Harrogate Vinyl Sessions event which will see the event return to its regular home of Starling Independent Bar-Café after raising an incredible £2, 700 for the Friends of Harrogate Hospital last month with a Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells night at All Saints Church in Kirkby Overblow.
Taking place on Wednesday, February 19, the Vinyl Sessions usual team will be in action - Colin Paine, organiser, MC and hi-fix expert, video curator Jim Dobbs and expert talk by Graham Chalmers of the Harrogate Advertiser.

Hide AdThis hit packed ‘best of’ is full of famous Bruce tracks including Born To Run, Born in the USA, Streets of Philadelphia, Nebraska and The River, this classic album has sold more than four million copies in the US alone with six million in Europe.
First released in 1995, Bruce Springsteen Greatest Hits was the American music icon’s first non-live compilation.
Overall, Springsteen has sold more than 135 million records worldwide and more than 64 million records in the United States, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
He was inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.

Hide AdDespite the light-hearted nature of the event, Vinyl Sessions was proud last year to host legendary Beatles and David Bowie producer Ken Scott in conversation with Graham Chalmers at one event.
Previous events over the last 18 months have included Pink Floyd, ELO, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, Blondie, Blur and Queen.
Entry for The Bruce Springsteen Special Vinyl Sessions event is free but a donation to the hospital charity is suggested,
