Woman hit by bus in Harrogate town centre
A woman was struck down by a bus this morning, bringing Harrogate town centre to a stand still.
The 48-year-old was treated at the scene by a Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) rapid response team who responded to a call at 7.04am.
Police confirmed they were called to the scene and the woman, who has not been named, was taken to Harrogate hospital.
A YAS spokesman said: “It looks to be fairly minor but we did attend.
“There is nothing to suggest it was very serious.”
The woman’s status is not yet known.
